Artist Statement
My work focuses on the exploration of technique and materials to answer questions that relate to time and permanence. I sift through these curiosities using traditional materials, things that can function as a paint, low resolution photography and digital reproduction. I often allow words to be the take off point for my work and have recently been inspired by the writings of Mark Twain; with his effortless wit in mind, I employ the use of repetition to signify time and change.
